Did you know that Richmond (a track that I actually like) didn't host a night race untill September of 1991?
Nowadays, several races that USED to be day events (Darlington, being the example I'm using 'cause that's where the Cup Series is as the date of posting) are being moved to night.
The July event at Daytona
the October event at Charlotte
the February event at Phoenix
the Labor Day event at the Atlanta Motor Speedway (note: this race is held on SUNDAY night)
The Kentucky race was given a night slot to begin with and I was horrified to look on the sched and see KANSAS as a Saturday night race!
TOO MUCH, TOO MUCH!!!
